The problem
Independent boarding house (kos) landlords typically manage tenant records, lease cycles, monthly bills, and expenses manually through WhatsApp and paper ledgers. This often causes record-keeping errors, missed overdue payments, and lack of real-time financial visibility.
The approach
Built SoraKos as a multi-tenant SaaS platform utilizing a fast React/Vite frontend powered by PostgreSQL serverless infrastructure (Supabase Auth & Edge Functions). Data between property owners is strictly isolated at the database layer using PostgreSQL Row Level Security (RLS). Features include room and lease management, expense tracking, WhatsApp billing reminders, and a dedicated tenant portal.
